Jan -2021- 2024- The Femina Project M.A.F.M (Menopause Art Feminine Me) The Femina Project M.A.F.M is a new research project that investigates menopause in Ireland. Explored through fine art, feminism, symbolism, science, philosophy and psychological tools to re imagine the way we both experience & describe menopause. This project depicts the lived experience of menopause through memories, diversity of experience enforced and natural, silence, the un-empowered, and the social and cultural history that determines the reactions to menopause and confronts our corporeal reality as women. (On-going research project interwoven with my visual arts practice/studio work)
